Menu walls across multiple screens
A menu wall is one menu spread across several screens — the coffee-shop look where screen one carries drinks, screen two carries food, screen three carries supplements. The wizard builds every per-screen board in one pass, keeps each slice live-bound to your POS, and takes a snapshot first so one tap restores every screen to exactly what it was showing before.
What you'll do
Run the Menu wall wizard: order the screens, pick the products, choose a slicing mode and look, and publish — with a safety net.
You'll need: the screens already paired (see the signage setup chapter), and products in your POS catalogue.
Steps
-
Open Signage from the drawer. On the Screens page, tap Menu wall.
-
Step 1 — "Pick the screen(s) for this menu". Give the wall a Wall name, then tap the screens in the order they hang on the wall. Each gets a numbered badge — that number is its slice order. A single screen works too; a wall does not have to be 2-up or 4-up.
-
Step 2 — "Pick the products to show". Search the POS catalogue and tap products to include; Select all and Clear work in bulk. Out-of-stock products are greyed OUT OF STOCK and cannot be added.
-
Step 3 — "Slice it across the screens". Pick the Board kind: Menu board ("Priced list per screen") or Product grid ("Photo tiles per screen").
-
Choose How to split: Auto by category (each category flows to the next screen, in menu order), Balance (all products spread evenly by count), or Manual (hand-pick which products land on each screen — assignments stay attached to the right screen even if you go back and reorder the screens).
-
Pick the look under Theme & branding and tune the Display toggles, such as Show prices ("Live price from POS").
-
Step 4 — "Review and publish". The review lists the wall's name, kind, screens, products, split mode and theme, shows what each screen will carry, and flags anything a screen is currently playing that will be replaced.
-
Tap Publish. The confirmation reads Wall live — each screen updates within seconds.
-
Changed your mind? On that same confirmation, tap Revert screens to what they were — every screen goes back to exactly what it was playing before you published. Otherwise tap Done.
What you should see
Each TV in the wall shows its own slice of the menu, in the order you numbered the screens. Boards created by the wizard default to a logo-only header (no repeated title text per panel); you can re-enable a title per board in its editor.
If something goes wrong
- "No paired screens yet" — the wizard needs at least one paired screen. Pair the TVs first, then come back.
- The slices land on the wrong TVs — the numbered badges in step 1 are the wall order. Re-run the wizard and tap the screens in left-to-right order as they hang.
- A category split looks lopsided — Auto by category follows your menu's category order. Switch to Balance for an even count per screen, or Manual for full control.
- Published, but the wall is wrong — tap Revert screens to what they were on the confirmation step to restore everything, fix the picks, and publish again.
