Chain, royalty and network reports

Draft — screenshots comingapp v1.0.0

When your account belongs to a multi-location organisation, the Reports tab grows three extra surfaces: chain-wide comparisons, a franchise royalty report, and a settlement view for members who train at sister locations. Single-location gyms never see any of this.

What you'll do

Read the chain overview and leaderboard, generate AI insights across locations, run the royalty report for invoicing, and export the cross-location settlement.

You'll need: a multi-location organisation, an account with access to more than one location, and reports permission. The royalty report additionally needs a franchise-type organisation.

Steps

  1. Open Reports. On a multi-location organisation you'll find the Chain reports and Cross-location visits entry points at the top of the screen.

  2. Open Chain reports and pick a range — Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days.

  3. Read the organisation KPI strip, the Revenue by location comparison and the Chain revenue trend line.

  4. Check the Leaderboard — every location ranked, with drill-down metrics per row such as new members and visits.

  5. Tap Generate insights under AI chain insights for a written comparison of your locations that flags outliers and suggests where to look next.

  6. For franchise royalties, first set the rate: open SettingsOrganisation and set the Royalty rate — the percent of each location's gross revenue owed to HQ.

  7. From the same screen open Royalty report. It shows each location's monthly gross, the royalty due, and monthly totals ready for HQ invoicing; tap Export PDF to attach it to the invoice.

  8. For sister-gym visits, open Cross-location visits from Reports. It counts visits between locations and shows what each member's home location owes the visited location at the current per-visit fee. Export CSV to settle.

What you should see

A leaderboard where each location's revenue matches that location's own Accounts figures, a royalty report whose totals your franchisees can verify themselves, and a settlement CSV whose visit counts match the door records at each site.

If something goes wrong

  • No chain entries on the Reports screen — your account is single-location, or you don't have access to more than one location. Chain surfaces only appear for multi-location organisations.
  • Royalty report shows zero — the Royalty rate in the organisation settings is still 0%. Set it and re-open the report.
  • No settlement rows this month — no sister-location visits happened, or network access is not enabled for the locations involved.
  • The chain total doesn't add up in your head — check the mixed-currency banner: you are probably adding two currencies that Prism deliberately keeps apart.
