Book a personal trainer
Personal training lives in the PT pane of the Train tab: your upcoming sessions on top, then the full trainer roster with photos, specialties and rates. Booking is pick-a-slot, confirm, done.
What you'll do
Find a trainer whose specialty matches your goal, and book one of their open slots.
You'll need: an active membership. Find PT on Today's quick actions jumps you straight here.
Steps
-
Open Train and switch to the PT pill. Any booked sessions appear first under Upcoming sessions, each with the trainer's photo, day and time.
-
Scroll the Trainers roster. Use Search trainers or the specialty chips to narrow it — each card shows photo, name, specialty and hourly rate in your gym's currency.
-
Tap a trainer to open their profile: photo, bio under ABOUT, their rate, and AVAILABLE SLOTS.
-
Tap a slot. The Book PT session? dialog shows the exact date and time — tap Book to confirm.
What you should see
The session appears under Upcoming sessions in the PT pane, and a reminder reaches your phone before it starts (if class reminders are on in your notification settings).
If something goes wrong
- No trainers listed — your gym hasn't published its roster yet; ask at the desk.
- The slot vanished as you tapped — someone else booked it first; the list refreshes, pick another.
- You need to cancel — talk to reception or message your trainer from the app; PT cancellations are handled by the gym.
